I don't think the Flames could've found a better Kane deterrent.

I'm excited for the return of Wet Tracksuit Kane this year.

Kadri to the Flames also just made so much sense, especially after losing Tkachuk, but even before then. He just fits the bill on so many levels.

Any chance we get to see that cool chart of Kadri and how good he is? I am curious to compare it to Tkachuk and JG.

Huberdeau = Rantanen, Mangiapane = Nichuskin, Backlund > Newhook, Weegar = Toews, Byram = Andersson, Hanifin > Girard, Tofolli = Burakovsky, Markstrom > Keumper. I guess Kadri is the Landeskog in the equation.

Colorado has an edge based on Makar and Mackinnon, but it's not huge.
wouldn't Kadri be the Kadri in this equation?

I'm comparing current teams and what Kadri is looking at. Though then I suppose Burakovsky is out.

But sure. In that case Landeskog is a missing piece of Calgary's puzzle, unless you can compare Coleman at all.

Now reel in Milano for another option on the wing.

You know what? Yeah, it'll probably suck towards the end just like Huberdeau's contract could. But the older I get, the more I realize I just want a fun, competitive Flames team to watch.

Treliving has navigated this off-season in the best way you possibly could. Then when you consider who is knocking at the door in Pelletier, Coronato, Wolf, Poirier... this is going to be a fun team over the next 5-6 years.

It would've been the Alberta way.
Would Katz have tried to sue us for trademark infringement? Or would the fanbase half to start planning parades every year and then tossing jerseys on the ice first?

Love this deal. We definitely have a harder to pay against and better team than last year.

The thing that hurts the most is the first to Montreal, but let's wait and see what the actual deal is.

Depending how Kadri and Huberdeau age, their window can be shorter than that. Our window is still a solid 8-10 years unless Connor and Leon are leaving
