Does he represent anyone else on the flames? Almost like him and Brad have a good relationship from something previous?
Think his last high profile client with the Flames was Frolik.
Huberdeau's next contract will most likely be the richest contract he represents to date. So he has a somewhat vested interest in this deal to happen rather than Huberdeau to gamble on this season and test free agency.

Walsh sounds like Huberdeau's uncle or something, and, very complimentary of BT.
One thing not discussed in the whole JG (and probably MT)saga is how other agents and players saw how things went down and how the Flames/BT handled it...from being player friendly in beginning (ie giving JG the year to not negotiate) to the messy and disjointed ending. I think from that perspective agents and players further realize the class and fairness of the Flames to especially not use the press to negotiate or try and tear down players during or after the process.
One wonders if Walsh.going out of his way to mention the lengths BT went to meet his client is, in part, an indicator of that respect agents have for how BT handled this offseason so far.

I guess it's natural to be suspicious of a player agents' ulterior motives, but why would he post that? Very strange.
Looking at Walsh's other, unsigned clients, only name in there of interest is Sean Durzi as an RFA. Sutter would have a good idea since he played on the Reign for a season or two, his nephew as the captain.
