I love the D. Like a lot.

The forward group is…well I dunno what to make of it. You could argue they’re missing an entire second line. You could argue they’re missing depth. Lots of “ifs”. If Mangy becomes a first liner, if Toffoli/Coleman can step up. If Pelletier can make the jump.

Big ‘meh’ tho. Any forward group with Monahan/Ruzicka/Rooney pencilled into the bottom two C spots is prolly in trouble.

Huberdeau on a long term may age better than Gaudreau and Tkachuk.

If you're a fan of rebuilding, Treliving can flip both for assets at the deadline.

How can you not like this? Nutty.

So many ways the Flames can go with this, but they asset managed the HECK out of this. That was the most important thing.
