No he didn't. He let it go to the last minute again and then used a mechanism to shield the team from possible offer sheets. How does waiting until the last second before the team elects arbitration placing a deadline on anything? He should have all of this #### worked out before the draft. That's when you draw your line.

Whoever is on 960 right now is actually pumping the Flames tires.

Think they can still be good with the return for Tkachuk

We are getting raked in all social media. The whole league is just laughing their asses off at our fanbase. And I can't blame them. What an unmitigated disaster this offseason has been.

What last minute? He had a year to go, via QO. Exactly the same amount of time as Gaudreau, just in a different fashion. He's going to get a pick in 2023, not 2022, which is superior.

Move dem goalposts.

Sure you can.

Juho Lammikko and Noah Juulsen vs whatever Calgary gets for Tkachuk.

Has to be Kyrou, 1st +

You can't keep everything and or trade garbage and expect to get Tkachuk

Whether it's rebuild or retool, I hope they build their forward group at the centre position.
I could see him joining Bob Murray in some sort of advisory/pro scout role. Granted he'd be doing all of this from home, but so what.

I actually felt the reason the matched up poorly against the Oilers was more based on how poor the defense has defended McDavid and goaltending in general seems to be mediocre/poor when the two teams face each other. Not sure if losing Gaudreau and Tkachuk changes any of that.

That’s what Evolve Hockey has him potentially signing for, this isn’t the Flames trying to squeeze anyone.
