McAvi, Yamamoto, Nurse,.....

The list goes on and on. Wish.com Seth McFarlane is a pretty unlikable coach too.

It just aggravates me that both Edmonton and Colorado have iffy goaltending and D, which should have been a huge advantage for the Flames, but the Flames D and goaltending melted down at the worst possible time after looking great most of the season.

This playoffs was a golden opportunity lost.

Don't take this the wrong way, but that is a completely non-sensical interpretation. By your logic, no one can ever skate towards the offensive zone if the puck and a player is inside. That is nonsense.

I doubt Leon Draisaitl's parents even like him as he's the epitome of a miserable prick. McDavid is a social misfit. Then you have Kane who's lucky not to be in prison.

Let's not forget Gulutzan. No member of the Oilers has caused more pain to Flames fans than that guy did.

Anyone who is tired of the Snet Oilers stroke fest find a way to get the US feeds. TNT coverage last night was fantastic from the pre-game through the game and the post game. Just top notch especially compared to the garbage we get in Canada. If you want to find a way to watch the feeds I Predict The Video quality will be very good.

I always found that part of the complaining during his years in Calgary baffling. Seemingly endless comments about how he'd look down after a goal to watch the replay on the screen at the bench and how that made him incompetent. Meanwhile, I've seen every other coach in the NHL do this regularly and we also have players now looking at replays to talk through with each other why they were stopped on the play and how they should adjust. Never understood why this was such an issue for some.

It wouldn’t have been, if it had done anything for him.

The only players the Oilers are missing are Reaves and Wilson. They pretty much own the rest of the deplorables already.

Outside of the results I found the Flames Oilers series rather terrible as I did the first Oilers Avs game. It is bad hockey and is really just highly skilled beer league. Some people actually enjoy the structure of a good team moving as one rather than a bunch of people skating all over the place and blindly throwing the puck in the general direction of the net with a hope and prayer.

oiler definitely get the other teams off of their games and drag them down to this track meet hockey. It is not good. Slightly entertaining but overall trash.

Flames got caught up trying to play that style of hockey and were easily dispatched and if the Avs don't make corrections in game two I think the Oilers will win this series and get to the Stanley Cup finals. It is annoying that he's smug but the swagger is working to date.
Lol what is going on

I'm taking any and all bets with anyone picking the Oilers still

The sheer amount of highs and lows in one game makes for good entertainment value especially for casual fans but it's about as poorly executed hockey as you can have with all the defensive breakdowns and shoddy goaltending.

Colorado D is better than ours. In retrospect, our D actually was overachieving during the regular season, and that set up a false expectation on our part. If we rewound back to the beginning of the season, there were questions about our D all around.
