Montoyo is playing 4D chess - the Angels are off to NY next so he's getting their bats warmed up!

I wonder if it has ever occurred to Borucki to throw strikes.
Walking the 9 hitter before facing Ohtani and Trout should be an automatic DFA mid game.
Correction. That was assuming he wasn’t going to throw an absolute meatball to Ward. He’s just a very bad pitcher. Don’t know why Montoyo didn’t bring in Stripling to start the 4th. He is a very reliable long guy afterall.

If the strike zone was several feet down and outside to a left handed hitter, Borucki would be a Cy Young winner...

Tabler: Ohtani has never had 3 home runs in a game.
Literally the next sentence - Devlin: Ohtani has never had 3 home runs in a game.
That's some high quality commentary.

I can't remember the last time I saw a team hit as many balls to the fence without them going out as this year with the Jays.

We sat Teo, Vlad and Jansen so Tapia can DH? 4D chess indeed.

if Charlie went straight from Berrios to Stripling, we're still leading right now

Tapia, what is the point of having speed when you never use it?

He could have easily scored from third on the cross up.

Can't believe Montoyo let the AL MVP hit home runs like that.

Bummer. The only hard hit ball that inning turns into a double play. Jays tied it up though!

Seriously though, against a leftie who destroys left-handed batters, Montoyo starts Biggio, Tapia and Zimmer... I mean come on, that's a firable offense right there
And yet, the Jays may just win this!

Yet Biggio and Tapia have gone 3 for 6 with 2 walks and 3 RBI! Charlie should have just read the stat line instead and raised the white flag eh!
