I’d have Jansen in at DH myself but they seem loathe to use both catchers. Actually I think if Jansen starts they’re better having Kirk DH as they’ve done that a number of times. They don’t want the opposite and I guess I can see it giving that in any late inning scenario Kirk is a must to PR for if he gets on base.

I don’t know why Montoyo is so determined to foist Zimmer upon us. He’s not an MLB caliber player.

Berríos needs to be so much better. Our bullpen is taxed and he had the chance to grind through but he failed to even get through the inning after a big lead was opened up. You’d hope for better from our opening day starter.
