When I made that post I was definitely prepared for the idiotic responses from some of you. Just because I'm prepared to cheer for another Canadian team doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer to be cheering for the Flames. Some of you need to grow up.
And I'm sure that will generate a bunch more stupid responses!

To be fair, on the forum for any team in any sport you will be laughed out of the room for supporting a heated divisional rival after they just beat your team... there is no stronger way to turn your back on your team than what you are doing. Clowning you for this is not something unique to this board, of that I'm sure.

So do you also support the abuse of women? By cheering for the Coilers, the team that is so scummy that it employs Kane, you are indirectly supporting the abuse of women. The fact that they gave him a contact when no one else would, alone is a reason not to cheer for them. They are filth, with no moral compass…

You do know there are a high percentage of Canadian players on other teams. Once my team is out, I will cheer for players I like. There are zero players on the Oilers I like so I cheer for someone else.

BTW, you can cheer for who you want, people can comment what they want. Calling them idiotic comments show you are not so bright. Telling people they need to grow up, sounds like you're the one who need to do that. Besides, they are just saying they will not do it, they did not ridicule you, why are you so upset?
