Dumb move by Sutter and really want to understand the thought process behind that one.

Come on man how young of an age do you learn boxing out as a dman. That was RNH for crying out loud.

I have to wonder if the 7 game series against the Stars took something out of the Flames. They haven't been the same team on defence since then.

This Oilers coach is something else...happy to pat himself on the back for everything

The last time the Flames played a do or die game this playoffs they dominated, and won.
I'd rather it not get to this stage, but this is the Oilers. This series clearly isn't over in the slightest. Win the next one and go from there.

It almost seemed like instead of getting more pucks on net with a goalie who was probably rattled, they were patting themselves on the back for tying it down 3.

Yeah, this is the NHL not peewee hockey. Unacceptable D from Kylington there. He’s been a complete and total disaster all series long.

Take it one game at a time. Focus on winning Thurs and we're only one game back. It's playoffs, anything can happen.

He’s got another year, but I don’t see him coming back unless Johnny re-signs. He wants to win.

Watching the Woodcroft interview, he's almost gloating about out coaching Sutter.
Keeps talking about getting the right guys out at the right time after the tying goal, he knows he pulled a line match that caught a weak Flames D there.

No matter what happens this series or beyond (I still believe), Flames must upgrade their D for next season. Not sure who is available, but no doubt that needs to be better. All due respect to Tanev, but when losing him (or having him as limited as tonight) is such a serous blow, your D corps isn't deep enough or good enough to be better than a top 8 team.

Nah, it would be better to just not lose to the Oilers so people don't have to post this kind of wildness.

I mean he did out coach him there. That group of guys on the ice for the go ahead goal was laughable.

Dude is either not conditioned, simply a poor skater or likely both. He never breaks away from anyone and is usually caught by defenders.
