Marky just needs to tighten up his series 5.75 GAA and we'll be fine...

As far as I’m concerned this loss is on Sutter. Did I like Edmonton jumping up to a 3-0 lead? No I didn’t. Once Calgary climbed back and tied it , imo it’s back to 0-0. I have no idea what he was thinking putting our 3 worst forwards with our worst pairing D ? He juggled lines all night and with 3 minutes left came up with that combination of players on the ice at the same time? No one good on that goal but Kylington takes the gold star for the no effort award.

This is a crazy take. But also completely correct.

Everybody is piling on Kylington but Lucic really stopped skating there and casually followed the play down the boards and away from the Dman he was supposed to pick up and that ended up shooting the puck on net.

Markstrom’s collapse completely destroyed their confidence and we see the results. Sutter was gambling on him bouncing back, but every game he gives up a couple softies.

Just take care of business in Game 5 and then try to steal one on Saturday in Edmonton.

Guys replying to BoLevi - Learn the behaviour. In losses, he's ALWAYS in the PGT thread stirring up garbage. In Wins, he's either non-existent or much less troll-lol-lol. Do. Not. Engage.

That was the first playoff game that I thought Markstrom actually cost them a win. The first and third goals were horrible. Couple good gloves early in the 2nd and the PK save off Draisaitl in the 3rd.

To make it short

a) Markstrom not playing well
b) Sutter stubborn in his coaching decisions (rolling through every line no matter the time of game or necessity)

These two will have been our downfall if we lose this series.

We have to now win the next two games by 9-6 right? We will worry about Game 7 when we get to it.

Just win the next game.

Need to win out at home and win one on the road. Same as what the situation was after Game 2. Just sucks that it has to be 3 straight.

What does the GM say if you bench his shiny new 6x6 goalie for having the yips against the Oilers?

That isn’t an easy task to do though and it’s likely not going to happen much. So for the flames to not be able to win tonight despite 97 being held back a little is not ideal.

I’m actually numb to this loss after it’s all said and done. A small part of me had faint hope when they tied it up and I thought this could be the catalyst to rally around and really change the series, but that quickly evaporated.

Can’t see the Cinderella comeback at this point as there is just too many things not working. Poor goaltending, invisible top line, odd coaching decisions and an inability to shut down the oilers scoring.

They played him well. Hopefully they can continue that next game, especially since they will have last change.

It’s weird - edmontons role players and terrible D are all playing above their ability . They are the team that looks like they have come together - while we look like we want to hit the golf course , minus about 5 players

I don't even know anymore with this team.

I think it's just better for my mental health to skip the next game all together and just see the final score.
