the refs have been terrible this series. they could have let every penalty go for both teams, none of the infractions negated a high danger chance or a goal.

i'm old school i want to see 2 fairly even teams go at it in a 5on5 war!

Agree, and I just wonder if Darryl squeezed too much too soon from the team in the regular season, and they just have nothing left. That was kinda Dustin Brown's comments on Sutter as a coach post-cup in LA, like you just can't do what he wants you to do game after game, year after year.

Set the tone. Take 100 penalties now but make them pay the price. Unbelievable how soft hockey is now.

Hanifin, Kylington, Andersson, Gubransson - all playing totally soft and chasing players around or letting players skate around them without getting any hits on them. Ridiculous hockey. Everyone is backing up and afraid of the Oilers speed. Really pathetic Flames soft hockey right now. All of them all watching the puck entering the zones rather than playing the bodies.

The problem is the giveaways and turnovers. You can't turn the puck over within 5-ft of either side of the blueline. This is as much on the flames forwards as it is on the defense.
