Maybe like the Oilers in the 80’s? One one each side of the circle. They can all be the same size then

So you've seen the final designs?

Kind of a rude answer. Enoch asked a legit question. Where will the Coyotes put logos? One in each end? Behind the net? Morgan admits they can't alter anything ASU does.

Could the Coyotes use space age computer technology to alter the look of the ice and board advertisements for television broadcasts? You know how some networks can put PP timers and advertisements on the ice surface and glass during broadcasts.

I have no idea what the abilities or limitations are, so maybe it isn't feasible.

Center ice, one half will be the Fork, one half will be the Coyote head

It's done and agreed to.

Like back in America west arena.

Rude answer? please.. I'm not one to use the whole "fake news" BS but this Katie Strang article is just that as is this big headline about logos.

I love the Sun Devils logo and colors. This is great news IMO.

The reason this amateur hour is allowed to continue is because no potential owner from another major US market has surfaced who is willing to pay the Vegas/Seattle price. So Bettman and co. doing their best to make chicken salad out of chickens***.

I don't have a sub so I can't be sure, but I don't see the fake news here.

The rendering has ASU logo at centre ice. Tim and Friends overlayed a true statement about the Coyotes limitations, so people connected the dots based on that information.

This is only 90% as embarrassing as it could be. Congratulations.

Based on what? Because that contradicts the original tweet.

Meruelo's sports gambling license in Arizona is tied to the Coyotes, so he can't keep the license and move or sell the team.

The way the Arizona law is written, only teams competing at the top-level of their sport qualify for the sports gambling license, so he wouldn't be able to transfer it to the Roadrunners if the Coyotes left the state and the Roadrunners stayed in Tucson.

What's this got to do with anything? If you want to go down that road, the Athletic was losing in the ballpark of $50 million a year, and has gone on losing money at that rate since the Times took over. The same Times, by the way, that hired Walter Duranty and Jason Blair. I wouldn't set them up as a standard of infallibility.

TBH the NHL should be embarrassed about this. It's a good thing they aren't trying to sell a billionaire on buying an expansion team this year.

The stipulation is that the team needs to play in an arena above 10,000 seats.

The Coyotes actually have the law changed temporarily as they are obviously not playing in an arena that large for the next few years.

Look guys, I am beyond just blind homerism on this stuff, I have called the new arena odds to be probably 5% possible.. I'm ready for the team to leave if it does but i also will stand against bull$%^ fake news (again, I am not one of those fake news weirdos, this instance is probably the first time i've ever used that phrase) but it's true. Katie Strang has an axe to grind and will stop at nothing to try to embarass the team, and the team isn't perfect and is deserving of alot but this entire logo thing is a joke. It's flat out spun to embarass the team.

This makes the NHL look ####ing bush league. What a joke… I’m actually pretty shocked the league is allowing it, just a terrible look.

LOL this will be smaller than many minor league rinks and the kicker is news today that the Coyotes won't even be allowed to have their logo on the ice.

ASU is going to have their logo at center ice even during Coyotes games! https://ftw.usatoday.com/2022/05/coy...l-embarrassing

The league has no choice in the matter. They don't own the Coyotes, they don't own the arena, they certainly don't own ASU, and they are not a party to the contract. There's nothing for them to allow or disallow.

If she's wrong, as you keep saying, show us what's right. What's the plan? If they can't touch the Sun Devils logo, what are they going to do?

So what this means is this: If the Coyotes split half of the Center ice logo space that is already discussed with the CFO of ASU and the Coyotes (Per Craig Morgan). They cannot modify the ASU logo on the other side at any time, it's there to stay even if ASU hockey's season is over with.

Why is this so hard to understand?
