Can’t sleep. What an unreal night. Did that just happen?

Would love some more video of Tyler, Vladdy and a couple of the other guys rushing down to greet Markstrom.

Jarnkrok gets criticized a lot for his lack of any offensive finish so far, but his boardwork is incredible. He's tenacious on the puck and wins almost all the battles IMO.

His work on the Toffoli goal is worth a focus:

So this is what actually happened at my place. My eldest boy is living with me now and as some of you might remember from past GT's any time he watches a game with me, we lose. Normally he is always out doing 21 year old things but tonight he was at home in his room. So he had asked earlier in the day if he could watch the game with me and I was like "no fn way!" So anthem is done, I am getting all jacked and excited and as play starts he comes out and says "come on, this is stupid, I can't affect the game" and Benn scores and I lose my ####! "Out, out, out, get the F back in your room!" So he walks back to his room laughing and of course I am pissed off. So fast forward to us tying it up and I yell "YES!" Tie game boys, let's go. So the players skate to centre ice and my son comes out and is like "did we score?" and Dallas scores another goal and I just turn to him and yell "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!, I WILL KILL YOU!!!" Then I chased him into his room and gave him a kick in the ass on the way. Have you ever watched Ren and Stimpy and Ren gets beyond pissed at Stimpy for doing something dumb? That is exactly how I looked and sounded. So he stays in his room and 4 minutes into OT I get a text from him that says I have to pee and I texted back pee out the damn window, I don't care but if you leave that room I will end you! Then Johnny scores, I scream and holler and after about five minutes I texted him he could use the bathroom. All was right in the universe and the frogs rejoiced!

Maybe its just me, but Zadorov playing as much as he did was not ideal. Too slow and just doesn't handle the puck well enough to be slotted into the top4
I thought that line was great tonight. On the first goal if I remember right Jarnkrok kept Dallas from exiting the zone twice. Jarnkrok may not be scoring but he's been doing a lot of good things and is always playing hard.

*edit I wrote that before seeing AC's video.. But yes, that..

Man, such a crazy night, and just had to share lol. Been betting for quite a few years, and always love playoff sports betting and making brackets. Never gone 8/8 in the first round though, until tonight. Took so many things going right, NYR coming back 3-1, game 7 overtimes, and of all things, it came down to the flames in overtime. I almost felt sick, I truly thought it was just gonna be a cruel twist of fate lol. Added alot of extra "juice" to the already anxiety inducing game 7. Easily my biggest win to date. Thanks Bo!

Wow.... what a game!!!

First, Oettinger played incredible. I've never seen a goalie almost will his team to wins like that.

Second, while Oettinger was great, the Flames top players were just a little bit better and kept at it even though they didn't see immediate results (every game). Big kudos for them for sticking with the game plan and piling on the shots.

Finally, what can you say about Johnny? Showed up and showed out in this series. Was the best Flame in every game (2nd place to Markstrom) and wants to win.

On to the next round -- I hope we destroy the Coilers.

Just reflecting.... can you believe it was 18 years ago that Darryl Sutter led this team to its last Game 7 OT win. 18 years!

What a ride, what a game. Such a relief to be clearly the better team and to have the results to show for it for once. Oettinger put in an all-time great performance and couldn't beat the Flames. This series has really given me a healthy hatred for the Stars. Did anyone catch Tkachuk saying that the vets called this the hardest series they've ever played? What a test.

Credit to Markstrom to keep battling, he made some big saves after Dallas put up 2. Credit to the team too not to fold and to stick with the plan. Flames teams in years past would certainly have collapsed before game 7, or at the very least after the first minute Benn goal, or after Dallas scored immediately after the Flames tied it up.

Here's hoping they keep it rolling into next round(s). Their odds are good if they can put up 45+ shots and limit the other team to under 30 every game.

I wanna give a shoutout to Chucky. He was off all series and when we needed him the most he played the best playoff game of his career. I think he’ll carry that into the BOA

Monahan meeting Johnny as he got off the ice was the wholesome visual I needed to cap off the night.
