What a frustrating year... we lost so many games shooting 40+ on net after Brodie was done for the year. though it never felt right the way it does under Darryl.
I think Stone was injured the whole Peters year.
And then Geoff Ward's passive systems happened and it felt like Stone's career was done.
Props to Stone for bringing back the same level of play we saw when we first acquired him. But also props to Sutter!

My god. We've had him since 2017?
Time..
..where does it...

Don't forget Trevor Lewis. Helluva series and it was a fourth line shift that created the icing for the gwg.
Had no idea he had this much game left in him at age 35

I just finished the game on PVR and I can't stop crying. So many years, so many heartbreaks. I can't believe it.

Wow….unbelievable win! I was on pins and needles for OT, pacing around my living room. My bud red light was synched for the earlier goals but went off early for the winner. I looked at it stunned for a few seconds then saw the play happen and Johnny score. Unreal. Just so happy right now!!! Can’t wait to see the boys take on the oilers in the BoA! Go Flames Go!!!

Just got home from the game. Insane.
Just want to shout out Z and Gud. When we signed these two guys as a flyer, really, who would have thought what role they would ultimately play? Incredible. Top pairing tonight. Wow.

Most OTs end on greasy goals; crash the net pucks in net, bang one in.
I love how Johnny got it to go with the elite snipe. That one went into a 4"x4" hole.
####, ya!

Just got home also. Playoff Backlund was in beast mode tonight. That hit to start the game set the tone. He was a forechecking machine all night.
Still concerned that we're a bit of a cluster in our own end.
Wicked, stressful and ultimately great evening at the dome.

Man, that goal, that atmosphere, how many saves Otteinger was making, the fact it was Johnny sniping it, wow, the stuff of dreams.
