The Flames are helping Oetinger alot too. He's letting out a ton of rebounds. Nobody is ever there. And it's not that they're always being tied up. They just aren't there.

That and they're shooting the puck right at him and almost never trying to tip shots.

That's an interesting way to look at it. Another way to look at it is they:

- Missed the playoffs
- Lost in the second round
- Lost in the bubble finals
- Missed the playoffs
- Currently up 2-1 in the first round

Take away that stupid bubble season, and they're just as sh*ty as everyone else not named Tampa.

Flames are going to do it the hard way. I am looking forward to seeing how they respond in game 4 as they're backs are up against the wall a bit here.

I have not been impressed by Jarnkrok, but he is not the only one struggling so far. These next couple of days are going to be rough around here. The sky-is-falling crowd is out in full force. I would love to be up in the series, but the boys are where they are. Let's give them a chance to regain home ice.

Go Flames Go!!!!!
Tkachuk is still not mature enough to handle the mental side if the playoffs. And our opponents always know it.

For me, the biggest thing is the complete lack of speed through the neutral zone, and thus a non-existent transition game.

And they live off the transition game. As a dump and chase team, they generate very little.

Rick Bowness out coaching the flames since 2019.

3 games and Sutter doing the same thing, starting to doubt big time.

And the series isn’t over but if last performance is any indication of future results, it don’t look so good.
What on earth are you watching? Dominated in every facet of the game?

Goaltending is the least of our worries. The lack of offence from the top 6 is a major reason why we are where we are. They need to start winning puck battles and creating some offence.

Ohhh and Pavelski can #### right off! He's becomg a Flames killer

Can’t blame him when you can’t score

He is not going to shut them down forever

That said he is currently the 2nd best goalie in the series

Lol. Oh right, we’re winning all the important areas. Except goals and wins. The only ones that matters.

But we have Corsi and xGF! It’s the moral victories.

Flames are getting no luck, and not nearly enough productive play from their middle six. Otherwise they're right there with Dallas - better overall - and are at least even-odds to win the next game.

My biggest concern after this one is not the 2-1 Dallas lead, but how tonight's outcome affects the Flames' confidence/belief level. This will be a huge test of Sutter's coaching ability I think. There's still no reason the Flames shouldn't win this series - but the risk of them beating themselves just went up.

Adjustments for next game: I'd still like to see Ruzicka in and Jarnkrok bumped out, and the middle six blendered a bit to see if they can create anything whatsoever.

Series is very much a coin-flip, I still think the Flames are very much in it, but I have some nagging fear that the Johnny breakaway may prove its defining moment. I sure hope not.

Yes, if you eliminate their best year, it doesn't look as good. Astute.

It’s the level of intensity in the game and not after the whistle. Need to up the intensity. Too much gliding, not enough driving to the net and fighting for net position. Not moving the puck fast enough. Need to play ferocious and with intensity not scared.

Better team than Dallas but no way out other than showing them with maximum effort and intensity.

We also need Gudbranson, Zadorov, Lucic to do their jobs.

Not worried about Markstrom at all. Worried about why or how there is a lack of intensity from line 1 and 2 this game.

Toffoli should be off PP1, possibly even bench him for a long stretch to start next game. It’s message sending time and it’s paint off the wall time from Sutter.

Get to ####ing work and stop playing like scared little babies. Get going, get intense. I’m looking at you mainly, line 1, and that goes for all 3 of them.

Jarnkrok should maybe be in AHL.

I don't see it that way.
Flames are carrying most of the play and just can't finish. Can't even score on the PP.
A little finish from these supposed goal scorers & Sutter looks like a genius.
