If Gaudreau and Tkachuk want to be known as really effective regular season players I suggest they keep doing what they’re doing.

Is Sutter calling out Gaudreau in his press conference?
Glad it only took 3 games for this tire fire to happen again in the playoffs.

Stop acting like they are Arizona or something. They were a 98 point team.
Flames are obviously in a tough spot but far from an insurmountable spot. This isn’t close to being over.

I don’t care about Dallas. I care about the flames. They were an elite regular season team. Now they’re getting dominated losing in every facet of the game, including coaching, by Dallas who was not elite. And yeah, were just good enough to make the playoffs.
And the series isn’t over but if last performance is any indication of future results, it don’t look so good.

Grr I said last post on this. Anyways, let's see what kind of stones this group has.

He's not a reason they lost at all.

Why are the Flames going all goon squad after the whistles? Wasted energy skate away. What are they trying to achieve?

I’d say blaming markstrom for the 2-1 deficit is very sophomoric analysis. This is not on him. At all.

Wow. That was .... unfortunate. Couldn't buy a bounce with million bucks all night long.
Intensity was not there...speed was not there. They were OK in their own end, but the forecheck has disappeared and they appear to be playing scared. Dunno what else to say. After such a promising season they needed to find another gear and their feet just aren't doing so.
(What's worse is watching the NoGoods stomping all over the Kings...that is NOT helping.)
There were only two good things all night and they were located behind Bowness, though they had much less...um...exposure ... as the game went on.

If I'm Dallas in this series so far, I'm loving how Tkachuk is all over the narrative they've laid out since game 1. His head is not focused on what he should be focused on. Play hockey young man. The shenanigans are not what the team needs from you at the moment. It is only 2-1, and yes, I am well aware of the franchise's playoff record, especially since winning the cup. Flames are going to do it the hard way. I am looking forward to seeing how they respond in game 4 as they're backs are up against the wall a bit here.
I have not been impressed by Jarnkrok, but he is not the only one struggling so far. These next couple of days are going to be rough around here. The sky-is-falling crowd is out in full force. I would love to be up in the series, but the boys are where they are. Let's give them a chance to regain home ice.
Go Flames Go!!!!!

you're missing the point. both goalies are playing good. flames fwd's need to be better. being down 2-1 so far isn't on markstrom.

I can’t have a proper conversation with someone who believes that flames are “getting dominated in every facet of the game”.
That’s just absurd and I’m done here.
Be well.
