From what I've seen, Second-Half Backs hasn't shown his elite 2nd half level up to this point outside of his generally good defense play. Something tells me he was saving it up to unleash it for the post-season. Backlund with 3 points tonight, calling it now!

I second only doing the wave after a 3 goal lead.
I'm still suffer from ptsd when flames blew a 5 goal lead to blackhawks.

This is wrong though.

In that 9-1 game against the Coyotes the wave was great and got the fans into the party even more.

If you're up by 3+ and there is less than 5 minutes left then the wave is a blast and completely fine.

Not disagreeing, but IIRC the wave was originally intended as a distraction to the other team. can’t recall if it was the field goal kicker or for foul shots.

Lol. #### off. The police have never once in 15 years bothered to police insanely loud vehicles or cars racing along 17th all summer long. I guess it’s ok to put pedestrians and other drivers at risk and endlessly annoy residents and patrons along 17th.

But now that it’s the playoffs, no honking. What a bunch of tools.

Things change in the playoffs . Tkachuk got speared by Benn or Radulov the last Time we faced them in the playoffs and we were without Penalties or suspensions on that one.

With the brutal officiating last night, I hope the Flames keep that in mind and don't take too many penalties -- let the Stars do that, and then take advantage on the PP.

Go Flames Go!
Same mate - I am in Brissy. Have cleared the afternoon for Wednesday and Friday this week. Let's go Flames!!

For some reason I'm not feeling as nervous as I have been in previous playoffs. Maybe it's just because I'm older and have much more important things to be worried about these days. I'm also a lot more confident in this current team and coaching staff than previous Flames teams. I just feel like they're finally ready to do some real damage this year.

I hope I'm right. Go Flames!

The poor folks in the Beltline probably have PTSD from those idiot convoy morons blasting their horns all day. At least this time it will be for a worthwhile cause.
