Pet peeve of mine. If you get up to pee, wait for a whistle. If you're coming back, wait for a whistle. I don't want to miss a scoring chance because you had to get an extra beer or more nachos.
This x1000, blows my mind how many people walk up and down the stairs while the play is happening. If you are half way up sit on the stairs till next whistle. Walking in front of others is arrogance at its finest.

Well, when people are talking about Heroin beer (the narcotics you seemed to be implying are caused by bacteria in the line), I don't think people are referring to how skunky the beer is.
People have claimed for years that Heroine beer gets you drunker because it ferments in the long lines. What you said was right in line with what people have incorrectly been saying for a long, long time.
In fact, here's a whole thread from a while back where folks debunked exactly that thought because the myth was so prevalent.
It even has posts where people still claim that it is/was due to the lines not being cleaned.

Even worse, I believe the draft at the Saddledome is actually 20 oz., which is 591mL.
A pint is 473mL, a regular can is 355mL, and a bottle is 341mL.
So, if you drink 2 Saddledome draft per period, that's the equivalent of 7.5 pints or almost 10.5 bottles of beer...in about 3 hours.

So, if you're drinking 6 of them during the game, you're consuming a little over 3.5 litres of beer in about 2 and a half hours (or the equivalent of 10 cans of beer).

I’d need to see proof that Dallas started that trend. It’s been done at the Dome for decades. And who’s to say Dallas started it anyway? I’ve heard many many such insertions during the anthem, in different sports.
Now “True North” in Winnipeg is dumb. Cheering for the ownership group?
Original sometimes sucks as well. Especially if it’s contrived. I laughed the first time I heard the Preds fans do their goalie chant. Then it got tiresome.
Dallas has been doing this far longer than Calgary. Way back to reunion arena, which they left in like 2001 I think.
I think “decades” is a stretch as it was late 2000s when it started in Calgary. Washington may have even started around the same time.
That being said, no, Dallas wasn’t the first as they likely lifted it from Orioles fans who yell “oh” (and now capitals also yell oh and red too)

Yes, and if I ever invent a time machine, I'll go back to 2011 and correct that post to say a US pint is 473mL.
However, it is still true that the Saddledome cups are stamped with 20 oz./591 mL, which is the US measurements (or they were when I made that post -- I haven't gone to a game for a few years, so I don't know if the sizes have changed).
