Flames game Dos and Don'ts
Hey all, I am attending my second Flames game ever tomorrow as part of a student hockey trip. We're going to be sitting up in the nosebleeds (I assume). Anyway, does anybody have any tips that can help make our experience even better than it already will be? I have been to one game in the past but it was a while ago.
I'm considering buying a jersey at the Dome. Good idea?
And I hear the malt ice-cream is amazing.

Nachos, malts or pocket dawgs are great.
And yell "red" during the American anthem.

Just talk to the security guards, they're always full of info.

It would depend on where you are sitting.

I am not sure but I am going to guess the Sportchek zone. Or do you mean even more specific than that?

Not to derail, but this typo is a pet peeve of mine:
Heroin - addictive drug
Heroine - a woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities

The Nachos are excellent as well.
Also get to your seats before the puck drops or else you'll have to wait in the halls until the whistle blows... sometimes you can be there for half a period.
Wear your RED flames jersey or attire

First time experience:
Skip the food, drink 2 beer a period. It's hard to do sometimes but it'll get you in the right mood
Try to sit low enough in the sportchek zone to see the jumbotron completely. It helps very much to see replays and some events with a zoom in

Make sure you ask for a Jarome Iginla malt. The lady laughs every time I order it.

The best part about the Sportchek zone is you get your own concession and washroom up there. Typically you've got a lot less time to wait than you do down on the main concourse.

Half and half? I don't think I get it, but it's been about 5 years since I've been to a Flames game at the 'Dome.
