I’d need to see proof that Dallas started that trend. It’s been done at the Dome for decades. And who’s to say Dallas started it anyway? I’ve heard many many such insertions during the anthem, in different sports.

Now “True North” in Winnipeg is dumb. Cheering for the ownership group?

Original sometimes sucks as well. Especially if it’s contrived. I laughed the first time I heard the Preds fans do their goalie chant. Then it got tiresome.

It hasn't. And it's significantly louder in the playoffs, as it should be.

I like to think it's a thinking man's cheer. At first it doesn't make sense ("see?") but the payoff comes when you get to "red". I don't care if Dallas started it -- it belongs to the C of Red and that's who gets to do it.

I've always been curious if Flames fans ever do it at away games...

This is quite debbie downerish. It's just fans shouting together at a sporting event, who cares? lol

Winnipeg's ownership brought back their Jets when it looked like it would never happen. Nashville is amazing for atmosphere and their chants are a big part of that. They're just there. I mean we chant "go Flames go" and no one get's tried of that.

Don't forget to be well hydrated before consuming heroin Beer from the heroine.

Mixing in a water in between rounds will help you don't begin hallucinating.

The Spokane Chiefs fans yell "Home of the CHEIFS" instead of "Home of the brave" during the US anthem.

One thing I do like is how many great beer options there are now at the "Dome.

I've done it in San Jose, Arizona, Vegas, Nashville New York (Islanders) & New Jersey. (got some angry looks from some patriotic folk in SJ)

When I went down to Anaheim for the second round in 2015, there were enough Flames fans in the crowd that you could definitely hear the "C" and "Red" during the anthem.

It’s encouraged by the flames. The lyrics have SEE and RED capitalized on the power ring.

I was also there and can confirm. That was such a fun time despite getting the Flames getting whooped.

Don’t leave your seat early unless absolutely necessary. I have seats at the end of an aisle and nearly half the row are constantly leaving and making us get up. It’s crazy how many people don’t come to watch the game it seems because they miss so much of it.

Also, make sure you know your section, row and seat number before you start going up the aisle - check your ticket before you are standing in people’s way. We missed seeing Tkachuk’s 100th point because people were standing in the aisle and had forgotten where their seat was (even though it was the 3rd period and they had come and gone several times). Worst case… if play has started and you still need to find your seat, sit down on the stairs so you don’t block people’s view.

Definitely not much, maybe Nachos and fries (fries only if you're okay with the frier being shared with chicken fingers.
