Good luck finding one... and I mean that.
It comes with Wii Sports which is a compilation of sports games, Bowling, Tennis, Golf, Boxing and is a ton of fun.
I've got no advice to find one, but if you REALLY want one I suggest that you spring the extra bit to get one on eBay because you're going to really struggle to get one in a store.

The game itself is realatively easy to pick up, especially if you've played golf or other games in the franchise before. If your friend hasn't done either, expect a hole or two for them to pick up the basics, which is all you need for a multiplayer game.
Also, you can adjust the game/swing difficulty rating... so, if you're like me and have a wicked slice in real life, you can cheat a bit and put the setting on easy to have a much more forgiving round.
I find that this helps you enjoy the game a bit more until you can work out the kinks and move up a difficulty level or two (it goes easy, standard, hard, expert - which I cringe to think of how hard this is) - as compared to other golf games on the wii right now like Wii Sports and Super Swing Golf, TW07 is a much meatier, realistic and fun game. The putting is tough, too.
On the negative side, the display has changed from the older games (which is not that big of a deal), it seems like the game face mode has fewer options this year, and I think the announcers have less material recorded than previous years... but all of this can be looked over.
The multiplayer has more different types of games which is very fun.
Overall, it is a solid game and I recommend it.

Excellent. Thanks for the review SeeGeeWhy(and JimmytheT, too)
I still play Links a bit, and I'll play this but it is always a bit more fun with someone else. Madden to too tough for someone just to come over and play, so I've been looking for something a bit more substantial than Wii Sports that can be played by a few people.

One last question about TW 07 - Im curious about the Modes that you can play. In years past there used to be a mode where you had to beat golfers to unlock golfers/merchandise.
Does something exist like that in TW07?? I cant find anything that say whether or not thats included in the game this year

I popped into an EB Games in a suburb of Chicago yesterday. It sounds like they are even tougher to find there. The sales guy said that are no longer getting shipments since they are planning on stockpiling for a while and send a large shipment at once. He was saying that I was lucky to have gotten one aready. As with other anectodal evidence I hear, they sell out in minutes when they have a new shipment.

I believe so Ty.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/review/R111660.html
In that fan review he rates the features as a 8/10 with this blurb:
Rates overall 6/10
Features: 8 - There are a lot of nice features in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. There's of course the pro shop where you can spend money earned while playing. In the pro shop you can buy everything from hats to clubs to customize your player. There are also a plethora of gameplay modes from an actual full tour, to simply taking on Tiger. The custom character creation is very deep with the ability to add points to your character's stats based on how well you do while playing.
IGN only gives it a 7/10 though - I tend to rely on their reviews alot...

The learning curve would be max 15 minutes. There be a couple times where you unintentionally screw up your shot, and it will be frustrating. The thing I hate is chipping, but I hate that in real golf anyway.

Flyers have been posted on Canadian sites like RFD and people have commented that people have purchased the Wii for $248 at Wal-Mart.
Seems this is the new Wal-Mart price since Wal-Mart never has sales. At the same time, Futureshop has jacked up their prices to $285 or so for a Wii.
I really don't understand why Wal-Mart would drop the price when the system is selling like hot cakes and you can't find one anyway.

So I just got The Godfather: Blackhand Edition in the mail yesterday, and I must say I am loving this game.
Nothing like actually swinging your arm like your holding a tire iron and watch it happen on the game.
Sandbox games like Grand Theft Auto usually don't do it for me, but EA hit the nail on the head with the control aspects of this game.
I wish they had put more effort into updating the graphics, as it is not even near the Wii's potential, though the game is by no means ugly. This is a minor point however, as the game is so much fun.
I'm looking forward to more extortion and racketeering when I'm done work.

Wait a few days to buy one.
Rumours are Nintendo has intentionally slowed down supply because they met and even exceeded fiscal year sales targets for the Wii. The fiscal year for nintendo ends March 31, so most retailers are expected to get good amounts of stock starting in April.

Nintendo execs tried to stomp on that rumour pretty quick.

We have worldwide territories that are all competing over the available production. The Japan and European markets are doing extremely well with the Wii. People in Japan at NCL [Nintendo Co. Ltd.] are making the best decisions that they can about which products get shipped to which market and when.

This is the most ridiculous rumour I have heard about a business in a while. Why would a company which has there factories producing at full capacity, hold back units which would instantly sell and cover the cost of producing them, while turning a profit. You do not intentionally squander profits on one of the most demanded consumer goods in the world. What reason would there be for Nintendo (or any manufacturer) to do this?

Supposedly because sales after April 1st will show up on the next fiscal year and therefore, the books will be prettier.

Aren't there all kinds of security regulations and penalties surrounding business practices that inflate or otherwise manipulate results? This sounds like uninformed speculation from game journalists, not the actions of a publicly traded company with shareholders and regulators to answer to.
Has anyone seen used games cropping up for sale at the video rental stores? I have a $50 gift card from Rogers that I'd like to use, but I'm thinking if I can get two used games for the card and change instead of 1 new game for the card and change...

They can try all they want but it certainly appears that way. All the stores appear to be very very happy about how many Wii's they have been promised starting in April. It could very well be coincidence, but the end result is the same....the supply in April is really supposed to take off and it shouldn't be hard to find one.
