The way Lehner was playing he wasn't their starter

It's hilarious watching people still defend these clowns

Dallas has Seattle, Vegas, Phoenix, Anaheim all at home

Nobody is defending them, they are falling apart and are going to miss the playoffs pleasing absolutely everyone in hockey.

I'm sorry, are you suggesting that losing their starting goalie for the remainder of the season, while they are clinging to the chance of a playoff berth by their fingernails, constitutes working out for them at the exact right time?

Yeah. It’s more like how all the other PNG companies in town enjoyed the Enron fall, after years of being told by Enron how smart Enron was.

I’m pretty sure Lehner crapping out was not part of the master plan.

Not sure, Vegas and Dallas both have 4 games remaining.

Dallas has lost 3 in a row, and they are up by 2 points

However Dallas and Vegas have a game against each other on Tuesday

This could go down to the last game of the season

Well that explains getting pulled after 1 period against Washington.

It’s been a weird season. He came back from injury, played a few games, then left the team against Edmonton due to illness of a family member, came back for two games, and now this.

Pete DeBoer on if
@espn
’s report that Robin Lehner will have season-ending surgery is accurate: “Not to my knowledge. It was a maintenance day today. I expect him at practice tomorrow. I expect him dressed on Sunday.”

Whether he needs surgery or not, it's clear Vegas kept the wrong goalie. Lehner was never the answer and there's a reason hes bounced around teams so much

Lehner was in the operating room about to go through a major surgery for ####s n' giggles but then Vegas found out they couldn't put him on LTIR so they put their surgical knives away. Pretty obvious. Also #### Vegas for making it snow.

Lehner hasn't been playing up to snuff for a while now.

He has lost the confidence of his teammates and has been conceding the net to Thompson.

What else is he gonna say? Just a week ago he said that Lehner was 100% healthy and then threw him under the bus as the reason they didn't win more.

The way Vegas operates can be completely understood by looking at the city in which they play.

They gamble. They gambled here - if it doesn’t work and they don’t get in, they don’t care. Deal them in next hand.

If it did/does work, they legally get to ice a $100M+ team in the playoffs.

It’s ####in insufferable, but both the tactic and having the balls to roll the dice are commendable in their own way.

You have been defending their revolving door LTIR all season...sure it likely won't work but they certainly tried to ice a 100M playoff roster

I'm sure Vegas will find a way into cheating their way into a Vezina level replacement. "F" Vegas.
