Arizona is embarrassing. The league should do something about them.

Stuff I didn't love:

Flat start again, after a flat prior game. They looked disconnected and as though the most minor of forechecking from the Coyotes was just going to totally ruin their game. The first five minutes of that game was as bad as I've seen this team look this year outside of like, preseason. Absolutely nobody was ready. Are they coasting, ready to flip that switch for the playoffs? Well, the evidence might be that they got 6 in the second period when they did flip it.

(Or did Sutter explain something systematic that just destroyed the Coyotes? Maybe.)

Poor Vladar, give him a game or two.

The Gaudreau-from-behind-the-net move is getting predictable. It's still dangerous as hell, but someone's going to get run over if teams book up on this. I thought the Coyotes defended the first Flames powerplay real well in this regard, for example.

What I did like:

Ruzicka played a solid, responsible game. Jarnkrok is good, he's strong and fast, I kinda think Jarnkrok/Dube is going to be a thing. With these guys in, Monahan goes unmissed (in his current state). That's a big deal.

Lucic line pretty good again. People sure cough up the puck with Looch bearing on them.

And even though I have worries about the cute pass short side from behind the net, I don't think I've ever seen a team use two forwards past the goal line as successfully as this Flames team is doing, it just seems to destroy the other team's ability to retain or shift the puck out. Chance after chance generated by forwards digging that puck out and getting it to a pinching D man or centerman. Pretty neat to watch.

Jonny shooting with crazy confidence right now, has to be terrifying for goalies.

They might actually be a tougher out than people think, I also don't think the Ducks are just going to give the Kings two easy wins though
Yup, LA just keeps winning. I’ll LMAO if Edmonton manages to avoid Vegas in Round 1, only to get knocked out by the Kings. McLellan beating his old team would be pretty good too.

I was expecting Lehner back against Edmonton; looks like he had to head home due to a family issue.

It was a rough night to wear my Beagle jersey at the Dome. Should have just left after the first shift

Highlight of the game for me was Sateri trying to head butt save Gaudreau's last goal.

Went to the game, lost my voice cheering.

We were running slightly late getting to the dome, ran to get on the train. Train made us disembark at Southland and have to shuttle, dang. Decided to get a cab. Anyway by the time all of this gong show was done we get to the dome basically after end of 1st, walk in see them down 1-0. Grab a beer and sit down, and pretty much within 5 mins sitting down the Flames commence the bloodletting. Epic. 9 goals unanswered and just complete domination.

That was a lot of fun to watch. The thing I liked most of all is they didn't stop. They kept pushing and scoring. I would have loved to hear what was said in the room after the first.

Yotes are something else awful. Like biblically bad. Flames going to back into the playoffs with their baby #### soft schedule and get slaughtered at the first sign of adversity. As per tradition
I mean if there is anyone that knows about being biblically bad, it's an Oilers fan. Only the Oilers have been biblically bad for almost 20 years. Which is really tough to do.

Oiler fans in the ATL:

"Flames going to back into the playoffs with their baby #### soft schedule and get slaughtered at the first sign of adversity. As per tradition."

"This is why the Flames are gonna fall flat in the playoffs, they spend too much energy winning in the regular season."

Honestly, do these idiots ever listen to themselves? They're basically describing their own team to a T with these comments. The delusion is strong.

Unrelated but this is the photo at the top of Guy Lafleur's Wikipedia page and I have so many questions.

Poor Looch. Only non-plus player…
Carcone for Coyotes also a 0.
Johnny leading forward ice time at 17:07.
D-leader Hanifin at 21:40.
That’s great balance all around.
