A goalie like Markstorm that's a huge competitor needs to play after a loss. Otherwise it stays with him, especially after a night where "the team let him down", at least that's what Sutter said. Moreover, I bet Sutter can spin it in a way that says Markstrom got to rest in half of the last 2 games, so he isn't as tired.
