I think that we get secondary scoring from Dube-Ruzicka-Coleman tonight, Carpenter shows that he has some offensive chops on the fourth line, but pretty passes fall into the black hole of Lewis and Lucic. The second line has 24 consecutive passes into skates.

He didn't start a fight. He was involved in a scrum and Beagle didn't have the sense when to ease up.
It was an ugly incident and another example of why fighting is DUMB.

totally disagree, he went in there looking to start something and he got something...Beagle's 2nd fight of his career lets not act like he was beat up by a heavyweight goon.

If Terry had 5 goals nobody would even be talking about it. Sometimes guys need to learn the hard way.

I hope the flames react the same way if they are poking at Markstrom in a 6-0 game. Sometimes you need to read the room, other team is down 6-0 you don't need to crash the crease and hack the goalie.

We are at that time of year where you can't believe anything you hear with respect to injuries. Covid protocol is maybe the one thing they won't lie about if they are still doing that. Flying back and forth to the US for a playoff series will require a whole lot of testing unless that gets eased by then.

It is clear he wasn't able to defend himself and Beagle kept on pounding.

He hits him with 7 punches before the linesman even tries to intervene. In total he hit him 11 times and there isn't a signle punch thrown by Terry. 11-0.

THIS IS NOT A FIGHT.

There is nothing to celebrate here.

Even if they didn't need to hack the goalie, the response is not proportional by any stretch.

Fighting is dumb. But this isn't even a fight. A fight requires two participants. This wasn't that.

Beagle should have been suspended for the rest of the season.
