Encanto is the new Frozen for my little girls. They can't get enough.

The good part is that I think Luisa is awesome sauce, so I'm pretty tolerant of having the movie on about 884 times per day.

I find that for the Oscars, popularity means more than content when it comes to animation. Which is weird, because for live action they go out of their way to avoid popluarism.
you're the first person I've heard be so overwhelmingly negative about the movie.
Have to say I largely disagree with you.

I thought Arrival was just OK.

And I'm a sci-fi/alien nut.

People were like "omg incredible", that hype just didn't translate for me. Maybe I need to rewatch to find more appreciation. It felt like a better drama than alien encounter movie.

I'm still waiting on a modern film to do the extraterrestrial visit premise the way I'd imagine it to be.

Eternal Sunshine is a sci-fi movie? Then it tops my list. I love that movie and I've seen it at least 20 times. I might just watch it again tonight. Beck's take on 'Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime' is phenomenal.

If you can have Eternal Sunshine (great movie) I'm taking Stranger Than Fiction with Will Ferrell

It was pretty crappy compared to the original, Infernal Affairs. They should have gave Andrew Lau the Oscar.

Absolutely, the Departed was a very bland film compared to the original, Infernal Affairs. What's worse is that there are so many shots in it that are identical shot for shot.

Tony Leung, the father from Shang Chi is one of the leads in the original/

Seeing a good, non-comedy drama starring Ferrell was a min#### the first time.

You were just waiting for him to yell something dumb the entire film. But he just carried on being a normal human being.

That applies to almost every Asian movie. Every sequel I can think of is just a cash-in, despite how good the first was.

That's my bad. I posted a vid. People didn't have to react to it, but CP will never pass up a chance to make a deal about something.

Disney shouldn't be allowed to release another feature SW film without Lucas' expressed approval. They butchered his universe.

Thankfully the shows have some hope. But Kennedy is beginning to stick her nose in things again.

I pray they don't ruin Obi Wan.
