Calgary at +71 now has a better goal differential than Colorado at +70. Only Florida at +76 is higher.
I've always considered goal differential to be one of the better indicators of playoff success. Not sure if the stats back that up, but it makes sense to me.

I honestly think the only difference in the 4th line tonight was that Lucic was a beast. He really came to play tonight.
I didn't think Lewis or Carpenter did anything particularly special tonight.
One of my favorite things from the game was maybe the 2nd? Tkachuk goal, where Gaudreau turned it over to McDavid, immediately both McDavid and Draisatl fly the zone, Hanafin stick checks the puck forward back to Gaudreau and the rest is history.
Those guys flying the zone on questionable possession, only to be scored on is really indicative of that team as a whole.

Awesome to see the Flames lay a Saturday beat down on those clowns. Gaudreau-Lindholm-Thachuk are amazing. Huge timely save from Marky when it was close.
Bouchard is awful. Nurse is awful...his upcoming contract is hilarious. Oilers D in general is awful. Their 5 v 5 play is bad. Their goaltending is weak. Thank goodness for the PP. I think they will miss the playoffs. Suck it Oilers. Eagerly anticipating the ATL.
