Lewis had those two terrible turnvoers in Vancouver in the third period, after being pushed down the lineup after the Buffalo game.
Probably reading too much into it ... but if they think Carpenter can play a more consistent 5 on 5 game he might be seen as an upgrade.
Will see I guess ... plus I'd rather see some affirmation from the Calgary media on who's going tonight.

Probably the latter - if he is in fact in the lineup.
IMO, the perfect scenario is to rotate the 4th liners into the lineup. To be an effective 4th liner, you have to bring energy, and no one can do that every night. Getting time off, and then getting inserted, usually results in guys playing with extra jump (as we have seen with Ritchie for example).
Now that the Flames are so deep, I hope he starts the Scottie Bowman-esque player carousel with Lucic, Ritchie, Lewis, Carpenter, and maybe even Dube and Monahan.
Tremendous depth to work with now, as Sutter wouldn't hesitate to have any of those guys in the lineup.

If Dube keeps playing the way he has been since being scratched, he should be a lineup fixture (a top 9 fixture really).
