It seemed like the Avs finally turned it on with 10 minutes to go on the 3rd. Only reason that game went to OT is because Smith made some big saves. Credit were credit is due the Oilers played the Avs tough for 50 minutes. I’ll sleep easier knowing that when they want to the Avs will still stream roll the Oilers.

How ####ing bad were Jack and Louie tonight? That was something else.

Hopefully Dallas can win tomorrow and it will start another patented Oilers slide.

Avs just turned it on for the final 10 minutes & never trailed until that point, and it was all they needed.

I was pretty entertained for the 52 seconds that it lasted.

I was entertained when the Avs player went around the Edmonton defender like he was a Timbits player with a pylon on his head…

I was entertained when Nurse tried to defend, then fell over and lost his helmet, like a Timbits player just learning to skate…

I was entertained when McDavid tried to haul down an Avs player because he knew he was beaten easily, like he was a Timbits player who had lost his grip on the chair…

I was entertained when Kane was doing pirouettes at centre ice like almost all Timbit players because he had no idea where the puck was, then when he just bellyflopped as he realized the Avs where going in on a 2 on 1, Makar and MacKinnon against (lol) McDavid in defence…

And I was super entertained when McDavid just sort of half assed skated towards Makar, like all Timbit defencemen, leaving MacKinnon all alone in front to make 40 year old Mike Smith feel like a Timbit goalie who has no idea where the shot went, but knows it didn’t hit him so he just lost the game.

I think he was right. Very, very entertaining OT.

Man this Preds team. Would be nice if the Flames didn't have to play them in the playoffs. Maybe St. Louis drops down to a WC spot. But the Blues are a very good team too. No easy matchups in round 1.

Put me in the camp that doesn’t look at the Oilers as a shell of a team this year. As deep and well rounded up front as they’ve been in a long time. Back end and net are different story that will be exposed at some point, but blind hate aside, they’re a formidable and scary team because of their top end talent.

Roman Josi has been the big offensive player for Nashville. I heard on the Ducks radio that he has 22 points in the past nine games!
