Notice how the Avs don't celebrate like it's a cup victory? You know..like they've been there a few times this year?

Take notes, losers.

Oilers have matched up well with Avs in both match ups. They don’t look overmatched.

believe that was the first game between them this year, two more to follow

It seemed like the Avs finally turned it on with 10 minutes to go on the 3rd. Only reason that game went to OT is because Smith made some big saves. Credit were credit is due the Oilers played the Avs tough for 50 minutes. I’ll sleep easier knowing that when they want to the Avs will still stream roll the Oilers.

How ####ing bad were Jack and Louie tonight? That was something else.

Hopefully Dallas can win tomorrow and it will start another patented Oilers slide.

Once again, I come away from an Oilers game completely unimpressed by McDavid - hardly noticed him in this one.

(MacKinnon, by comparison, was a beast)

That was an atrocious attempt at defence on the winning 2 on 1 by McDavid.

What is with all this “elite” garbage coming from everyone in Edmonton today? Word of the day toilet paper?

Avs just turned it on for the final 10 minutes & never trailed until that point, and it was all they needed.

They flexed the Oilers out of the building the moment they decided they wanted to.

Oilers won 5 in a row against mostly garbage teams and then manage to get a point against the Avs in Colorado.

Their lapdog media is going to be in full fellatio mode now.

Forsberg and Duchene score 83 seconds apart, 4-2 Predators.

Touché. I’m confusing the Lightning game recently with the Avs.

And I was super entertained when McDavid just sort of half assed skated towards Makar, like all Timbit defencemen, leaving MacKinnon all alone in front to make 40 year old Mike Smith feel like a Timbit goalie who has no idea where the shot went, but knows it didn’t hit him so he just lost the game.

I think he was right. Very, very entertaining OT.

The game where the Oilers played a tough Lightning team that rested their #1 goalie and started Brian Elliott. I hate when teams go into Edmonton and laydown for the Oilers.

Man this Preds team. Would be nice if the Flames didn't have to play them in the playoffs. Maybe St. Louis drops down to a WC spot. But the Blues are a very good team too. No easy matchups in round 1.

Put me in the camp that doesn’t look at the Oilers as a shell of a team this year. As deep and well rounded up front as they’ve been in a long time. Back end and net are different story that will be exposed at some point, but blind hate aside, they’re a formidable and scary team because of their top end talent.

Terry scores has second goal of the game to have the Ducks within a goal, but, Duchene score another power play goal and Forsberg withe empty net goal. Predators win.

Roman Josi has been the big offensive player for Nashville. I heard on the Ducks radio that he has 22 points in the past nine games!

An outside shot at the Norris. As recently as a couple of weeks ago I didn't think it would be possible.
