The Jets should be selling. They're in a fake playoff race and stink.

Jets should sell, Dallas should go for it. The last spot will be between Edmonton Vegas and Dallas.

A few names at the end of this I think the Flames are considering if nothing happens on the Sean Monahan front.

Doesn't Dallas have a goalie to move?

Not sure what you mean with a goalie to move. They are running Oettinger and Holtby. Khudobin done for the season with hip injury but he wasn’t playing anyways. With them so close I don’t see them selling Klingberg with Hieskinen out with mono.

The only deal that makes some sense that has been floated out there recently is the one for Debrusk.

on Insider trading:
LeBrun confirms the CBA wouldn't allow Seattle or even a 3rd party team to retain salary on a Gio trade back to Calgary because he was taken in the expansion draft from Calgary. Pretty much killed any chance of Gio coming back to Calgary
said they went hard after Hampus Lindholm and were in until the end on Chiarot
doesn't think there is a perfect fit on D anymore and they are going for a depth piece now on D

Unless he’s unhappy being a 4th liner and has requested a trade?

I am very confused and interested in Vancouver. They are in such a middling place in the season. I wonder if big trades are waiting on the results for tonight.
I just think they waited to long to trade Miller. Only 1 team is probably even a possibility now! So strange.

Well Dallas only has one spot available, can’t sneak into the Pacific division. And Nashville/Minnesota looks to have run away with the first wild card spot.

Miller is an draft/off season deal.
More teams can afford him then, thereby driving the cost upwards...at least in theory.

Yeah, two of those teams still make it though it's not 3 teams for one spot.
One takes the Pacific spot and the other two fight for WC 2
LA isn't out of the woods either

I didn't know that Khubodin was done. Thought he was in Texas.

I think they're just referring to Dallas' situation (which s that they just need to beat out one of those teams)

Looking for insurance on Kylington in case he's still a bit shaky on the defensive side in POs?
He's the only one that seems remotely 'replaceable' without injuries.
Makes no sense to touch any body else. So whoever comes in needs to be fine with sitting.

If the Flames acquired Chychrun, I would wager that Kylington would be one of the pieces going the other way.
