Now that GIO has been traded to leaf's and Lindholm to the B's who does that leave for teams that were in the market for a defender? LA?

oh the Rangers were said to be after some of the big names and they have cap space.

Teams are always looking to load up on D if they can't do anything else.

Honestly I would not mind a league minimum Eric Staal to round out the forwards. Sutter would ease him in and he would bring something we lack down the middle.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone trade for Philippe Myers with salary retained now that he cleared waivers.

Which Greene is that? Wasn't Sutter praising Andy Greene on Rhetts last morning at 960?

Not sure Winnipeg nor Dallas are in sell mode. Both are well within striking distance of a WC spot, especially the Stars.
