Yeah when this is how you're forced to spend the first two periods, a 19 save shut out in a game that was 1-0 for a long time is more important than it will look in the box score.

So even if we assume a loss coming to the Avs (may be a win, but whatever, this has been a hell stretch), the Flames pull at the very least 6 points out of 10 here in the last bit, that's pretty damn good. And a chance they beat the Avs again yet but that's a very tall order after this patch of games.

IIRC Sutter was saying the Flames were a perfect 8-0 on the make up games.
