Ref maybe not watching or in the wrong spot but didn't Markstrom deflect the puck straight to him? If he plays the puck better or simply leaves it alone that goal doesn't happen.

You know what's bugging me is all this extra time Koskinen is getting to play the puck. Usually the goalie catches the puck the whistle blows. Every time so far in this game he catches it and he gets 5 seconds to decide if he wants to keep playing it. There was an a time in the second where all the flames stopped skating as so much time went by but then they let Koskinen throw the puck to the side.

It's like he recognizes that the game is being broadcast in both markets and adjusts his takes to be more neutral, only he overcompensates a lot, presumably because he's worried about being seen as a homer.
