They are special fences, if you touch them you get a Pfizer vaccination.. took a while to find a trucker that would drive them up but Trudeau pulled it off

America has shown that once people become addicted to this behaviour, to turning public discourse into an outlet for all their anger and resentment, you’re not even really engaging in politics anymore. Seems a lot of Canadians are dead set on going down that same route.

Fata off with this. Conservatives are completely unhinged and misbehaving and breaking laws right across the country in some weird temper tantrum of nonsense and anarchy.

Rational citizens want order restored. It's reasonable to be angry and hold resentment toward people who are blocking our borders, plotting the murders of law enforcement officers, demanding duly elected leaders step down, terrorizing an entire city, using children as meat shields, and the list goes on.

If you're not against this anarchy then you are supporting it.

Cliff, you're brutal.

There is a lot of doxing going on, and it is most definitely happening on all sides.

You can be against the occupation, in favor of the police clearing it out, and against the doxing that is happening, including the accounts on Twitter who are posting the leaks.

But like Cliff said, it feels good to cancel those bastards.

Sure - but its also like complaining about the weather when someone shoots you in the face.

In the grand scale of what's going on right now what's more important - a bunch of people occupying our countries capital city and (previously) blocking our borders with at least some ties to racist or accelerationism group or some people sending tweets about the people who donated to it.

This is so heart wrenching. Awful people, both of them. Truly disturbing.

Oh #### man. There were how many thousands involved or supporting this convoy/protest/massive terrorist event? And police issued criminal charges to how many?

Seriously, do you condemn every supporter of every cause for every offence? Our brothers fighting to preserve the forests out west are criminal. Equality and social justice protesters are criminal. Indigenous land protectors are criminal.

None of those groups are terrorizing people in their own homes, or harrasing people simply for walking in public. Quit trying to equate these #######s to any other protest movement, they're not comparable

Yes, but you see, it feels good, man.

Just as some are addicted to the feeling of self-righteousness brought on by judging and critisizing protestors and those who donate, some are addicted to the feeling of self-righteousness brought on by judging and criticizing the critics. To the former, the protestors are angry, unwashed, dangerous, etc. To the latter, the critics are angry, weak willed, dangerous to "our" culture, etc.

The latter would rather not talk about their addiction. They would rather not talk about how good it feels to believe the moral supiority of their position. How addicted they are to that feeling and how, no matter the issue, no matter what people are upset about, they will always have someone to judge and criticize. By pointing the fingers elsewhere, they can absolve themselves of any faults in their charater. For people who spend so much time reflecting on the actions of others, they find any suggestion of self-reflection an insult.

But, apparently they're different and morally superior. So, it's ok. Best to focus the entirety of their energy on the reaction to the problem and never the problem. Much safer that way.

My friend's lawsuit is now up to $306,000,000 against the convoy.
https://twitter.com/glen_mcgregor/st...36658862329860

Idiots on the convoy side say she is doing this to get rich. But it is compensation for everyone living in the core, which is about 50,000 individuals and plenty of businesses. Even IF they got $306M, which they will obviously not get... convoy members don't have that much even if that was the judgment. But split over 50,000 people would be $6,000. I wouldn't mind $6,000 but it would not make me rich. Just because she was the only named plaintiff doesn't mean she gets all the money.

I don't equate those targeting individuals homes with this movement, nor do I equate people intimidating people for going about their lives with this movement; at least, no more than I would equate the ####ers lighting buildings on fire and looting with the BLM movement.

The actions of a small number do not represent the actions of the entire group.

And perhaps further to the whole 'cancel' thing and the faux outrage culture. Apparently, people are willing to out themselves as basket cases by publicly announcing their boycott of David's Tea...because the wife of the guy who used to own it made a $200 donation. Along with her donation was a message of total hatred and deplorable calls to violence of course.

But this movement was organize by white nationalists and groups eager to overthrow the government. These are facts. We can talk about the otherwise good people caught up in it, but they are the people you shouldn't be associating with this movement, not the people acting in keeping with the leaders.

I am guessing you don't live in Ottawa or walk down the occupied streets. If you think it is a small number that is being violent, threatening and destructive, I'm gonna say you probably do not. You are either lying to the CP community or to yourself.

And there is absolutely nothing faux about our outrage.

Good.

While I don't really care if someone gets money from the lawsuit, what I really do not want to see happening are the convoy people coming out of this without some form of damage. To think that some of these people could actually profit from their actions is disgusting.
