Damn, bad game to miss. Just caught the highlights, felt bad for Kase but that's just a clean hit by a much bigger player. Hope he's ok.
Looking forward to the Flames trading for some secondary scoring and getting capacity in the Dome back to 100%. Looks like a team that I wouldn't want to play in the playoffs.

Nice to see the Flames jump up 2 spots in the real points standings. I sure was sick of seeing the Flames logo stuck up against that filthy Oilers logo. It will be nice to see the Sharks and even the Canucks jump over them soon too.

Really found Sutter's comments on the metrics for his defencemen contributing offence to be super interesting.
Suggested they need 35 goals from the back end to be successful.

This was the closest thing we have seen to a playoff game this year - physical, fast paced, everyone under pressure all the time.
And the Flames showed that playoff hockey is right up their alley.

Last night, when the Oilers lost, people whined that it was a back to back.
Last night, when Vegas got blown out, people said, well, it was a B2B
Tonight, in a super fast paced game, against a really good team, no one was whining about a B2B. The Flames just went out there and did their jobs, and got the W.
