Backs & Eatbread break their scoring slumps. Chucky with another beauty. What a beautiful evening!

Quite seriously should be considered for the Selke. I believe only 1 five-on-five goal against all year. Who’d a ever thunk that!

Chucky has become a premier power forward.

So smart and strong on his skates with great puck skills.

Can't believe how many wanted him traded last off season.

He really does look like the teams next captain to me.

Their "goals scored above expected" figure ranks much lower.

Both were heavily improved by the Blues game, though.
But a low shooting percentage is irrelevant if you are getting enough extra shots.

What matters is goals.

Which is better: getting 40 shots per game and a shooting percentage of 20%, or getting 30 shots per game but having a shooting percentage of 12%?

Goals are a function of shots X shooting percentage. It doesn't matter which number is high, as long as the result is

The initial comment was that the Flames struggle to score goals.

They’re 11th in the NHL in GF/GP.

I don’t care how many shots it takes them, to score.

Johnny and Chucky look like NHLers playing against beer leaguers out there

Still pulling for the Flames to score less than 200?

Johnny and Chucky are too good together under Sutter. Treliving should be offering 8.5 to 9.0 x 8 to each.

Was always someone who wanted the Flames to find a way to add a right handed RW in Laine, but watching him tonight not sure I want that anymore

Lawyers should draw up one contract with two signature lines for each of Johnny and Chucky.
