Looks to me like Mangiapane had his stick up too high, but was bringing it down when he made contact with the puck, and it was just low enough to be legal.

Anyway, Backlund and Bread are officially off the schneid. Next up: an actual point for Ritchie?

It is insane that we put up 35+ shots not 2 periods into games of late.

That's more than the average team puts up over a full game.

But I guess we have to have more volume to eke out our goals lol.

I'm just not accustomed to calls that are in favor of the Flames like the past couple of games...I think it's because Bennett is gone lol.
