Same place I buy all my racist memorabilia and accessories. KKK-Mart. Confederate flags, whites only parking signs, tiki torches, they’ve got a great selection.

She said it was a one off she found online. So who knows.

And of course, the outrage brigade is upset over having no sense of humor. Lighten up.

Tiki torches? What’s the story there?

edit: OK I googled it. Didn’t realize it became a thing. Guess I feel bad for any kids named Brandon now too.

I was taken aback by the number of "Let's go, Brandon" bumper stickers I saw in Arizona.

When do you take your tree and decorations down? I'm a firm believer in New Years being part of the holiday season and the decorations haven't worn out their welcome, so I go with the first weekend after New Years. This year complicates it with a Saturday, and I'll probably be exceedingly lazy Sunday, so probably the 8th.

Oh yeah it will be the weekend after the New Year’s weekend. I love lights and Christmas decorations so that always kind of sucks.

No 12 days of Christmas in your house I guess. Well, it makes the song a lot shorter.

Merry Xmas! I am positive with Covid, alone and unable to leave Cabo right now. Could be worse I guess lmao. Day 5 and still damn positive… been trying to leave since Christmas! Hopefully I can get back to Vancouver to be with the gf and our dog for New Years..

I'm indifferent to Christmas decorations so won't bother myself with them, but my wife likes to have them up for just the 12 days of Christmas. So she puts the tree up on the 24th, and usually takes it down on the 6th or 7th (depends on which works better for her)

Yikes, this is precisely why I won’t even consider travelling during Covid.
As bad as this polar craptex has been I’d much rather stay home/safe.

Hope you get out of there, worse places to be stuck.

Thanks man. I luckily don’t have to be back at work until the 10th so I have that going for me, but I really didn’t plan on spending this long out here.

On the bright side I wanted some alone time, and now I got it!

I'm curious how it works with your accomodation in this situation? Are you at the resort/villa/Air BnB still, did you have to find another place, or is there a sort of Covid hotel? How are the expenses handled?

A lot of people save up for a big vacation all year and something like an unplanned extension (say, due to COVID) could be very hard financially...

Seriously, it was perfection. Everyone had a blast and the food was high end restaurant quality.

Great moments like that don't come along often. It's important to savor them when they do.

I hope you all had some great moments of your own over the holidays.

Merry Christmas!

What's next, caught up in your own modesty you followed Joe Thorton's advice to Tomas Hertl in front of all of your guests?

Not to derail things too much, but when I am at work down in SC I drive by this place every so often. https://dixierepublic.com/ Amazing selection of WTF
