This is hilarious coming from the Oilers.
Kassian the caveman's encounter with Tkachuk was something to marvel, he long spouted in the Media how much of a troll Tkachuk was for not answering the "Code" and fighting him.
This of course after he horse collared Tkachuk to the ice and tossed a dozen punches into his head after taking 2 clean hits like a big wuss.
Perhaps the coolaid sweatpant brigade forgot about the first game with EDM this year when Kassian then crosschecks Monahan in the back of the neck putting him to the ice, Zadorov grabs Kassian and he turtles like a b__ch and skates away blowing kisses with his gloves still on crying about how he didn't want to fight.
Talk about fake tough guys... Kassian is the absolute top dog when it comes to giant P_ss__S. Everyone's favorite Drew Doughty is a close 2nd.

I thought the scored flattered the Flames somewhat, a couple weak goals and Vladar made a couple great saves. Especially considering the depleted opponent, not the best execution. Gaudreau missed a couple tap ins and bobbled the puck most of the night (at least compared to his standards). The Backlund line didn’t accomplish anything. Still more to get out of this group.
But you can only play the team on the other side, and in this case it ended up in a solid two points.
Do you ever have a positive day and just accept what is happening, or is everything doom and gloom? Must be a very stressful life.
Kassian is the ultimate gutless piece of garbage and the game would be better and I hate to say this, if someone ended it for him.
He takes a ton of Liberty, fights people below his weight class, He a spot checker. I think that Stortini is a braver more honorable person then he is.
His actions against Tkachuk were a joke, and what makes it worse is the media's portrayal of him as some mythical defender of the enforcer code. I found that particularly despicable by the talking heads at Sportsnet.

Good result last night. Not sure there's much to glean from beating the Belleville Senators. Just accept the 2 points and give the team credit for not slipping up. That Mangiapane though, what more can be said that hasn't already been said....his next contract is going to be expensive, especially if he heads to Beijing donning the red and white.

I see this being mentioned a lot, including on the game last night, but the Sens had 13 of their top 15 scorers and players by TOI playing last night. Batherston and Brown are big players missing but lets not act like all their top players were gone.

Yeah, like Sutter said - it's a test of depth. And Calgary was playing its backup plus a rookie fill in and at least a couple guys who fans think shouldn't be in the regular lineup.

Was more a shot at their organization icing a lot of AHL caliber players to save money and to lose. If Tyler Ennis is your #2 scorer going into last night, ugh that's a bad team. Plus, that was a hideous goaltending performance by their #3 guy Anton Forsberg.
Not sure why people are not happy that we got 2 points from the depleted Sens. Should we feel bad that they are missing some regulars, aren’t they all
Pros that’s in the show? SMH.
Should we have not played them since they are missing “regulars”?

I was going to say that Kassian is a piece of s**t... but then I realized if I stepped in some dog s**t somewhere, I'd just wash it off... whereas if I stepped in some Kassian, I'd throw the shoes in the garbage.

It really bothers me that Lucic hasn't shut him up. Are we seriously to believe Kassian is some great guy off the ice and Lucic won't fight him because they are such good friends?
