So this raises more questions though and I wonder if he could be suspended if it turns out he's not vaccinated and him/the packers lied to the league.
If you're not vaccinated you need to:
- Traveling on separate flight as rest of team
- Getting tested daily
- Wearing mask at team facilities and during travel
- Not leaving hotels
- Not eating meals with teammates
- Unable to do in-person interviews with the media
Which I don't think has happened. Also he somehow hosted Jeopardy which would be weird if he was able to do that without being vaccinated.

Yeah, it does seem weird. If true, I don't understand if he lied and somehow now they know his true status?

Re: Rodgers
He should face a suspension and a fine on top of the games missed due to COVID. What a garbage human to put other people around him at risk like that.

re: Ruggs
He is going to jail for a long time. Even in Nevada where money can affect sentences more than most places, the best plea deal he's likely to get is gonna be about five years in prison.

Yep. There are photographs of him without a mask on the sideline in the preseason which is in violation of COVID protocol. The NFL should make an example of him as no player should be above the rules.

Michael Thomas announces he's done for the year, suffered a setback in rehab and apparently has a new injury now somehow. What a mess...dude's basically missed 2 years straight.
Apparently the Saints tried hard to get a WR before the deadline yesterday and were in on OBJ, but it didn't work out. It's a good thing they have a dominant D, top 5 OL and elite RB, because between Winston on IR and virtually no WRs/TEs, this team essentially has no passing attack to speak of.
Still think they're good enough to make the playoffs, but I don't see how they win games in January like this.

It sounds like the NFL was aware of his status and was treating him as unvaccinated. They rejected his "alternative" immunization I guess? I'm not sure why they weren't enforcing their protocols.

Sources said Rodgers follows masking protocols while interacting with players and coaches inside the team's headquarters at Lambeau Field. However, Rodgers does not wear a mask while in the media auditorium during his weekly and postgame news conferences. The Packers have put other unvaccinated players on Zoom instead of at in-person media sessions.

Everyone is treated equally but some players are more equal than others. At least anti vaxx dumbass Wentz wears his mask on the sideline and in interviews. Rodgers is an ass.

Sad all around but you would think someone that came up playing pro sports would be more aware and has had guidance/structure in various ways. But it's not the first time we've seen stuff like this with pro athletes.

My personal biases aside, he should incur a suspension for this. Puts two entire teams and staff at risk every week

I wonder how Cousins, Wentz, and other unvaccinated players feel about Rodgers trying to weasel out of facing the same scrutiny they have received for their decision. I can't remember a top player in any sport with such thin skin.

I wonder if this will change the locker room dynamic.
