The Flames were the better team tonight. Take the point & get ready for the Stars.

8 game point streak is really something. Need to keep that going.

That was a good game to watch. We didn't come away with the W, but I didn't feel like I'd wasted my time watching a Jekyll and Hyde type team. A little bit of puck luck in the first, and that'd have been a different game for sure.

We'll get 'em next time

Can't believe a reporter asked a coach about Eichel especially since he wouldn't even be ready for months. What a dumb question.

Missed the game but watched the OT goal. Wow. That’s about as easy a tripping call as you can get. How did two refs miss that?

Ah well. That’s the name of the game. Sometimes you get screwed by the refs. Happens. Glad we got the point. Can’t win them all. On to Thursday!

Yup. It is. I'm not mad. Just keep collecting points and get some separation where it matters - in the standings.

Letting an extra one slip to the Preds won't hurt us or our cause (playoffs).

In her defense it was likely the talk of the room and then she apologized.

She realized it was inappropriate.

I'm fine with him not calling it out. He knows it would put him on the refs bad side. You play it smart and build a little in the good graces. The less you complain the louder it sounds when you do on rare occasions. Markstrom gave them an earful already, and those things get reviewed.

They didn't. They saw it. They decided not to call it. They decided the game.

I'm fine with Sutter not mentioning it though. OT is a coin flip anyway, and the focus was on getting there after being down. That's the right message for me.

Waited and waited but Sportsnet never did provide a good shot of the trip on Backlund.

Yeah would have been nice to get a better view but I think Calgary doesn't have cameras on the other side of the rink.

Yes 15 angles of the goal and none of the trip? There isn't any blind spots on the ice, director just decided not to show that angle.

Preds feed has an alternate angle of the trip.

This game should be subtitled “Missed Opportunities”.

What’s worse is the Grease will eat this Trashville team alive tomorrow.

Honestly thought Tkachuk had a pretty brutal night even though he got a goal… Couldn’t make a pass at all, same with Lindholm. Pretty clear Gaudreau was driving most plays

It kind of does happen to him no? He was tripped against Philly, not called, and they went back the other way and got the gwg.

He has drawn 1 or 2 calls this year. I am surprised SNET doesn't have a big program about that.

After being thoroughly dominated for a full 60 minutes tonight, I'm betting the Preds will be dead tired against the Oilers tomorrow. They'll likely be starting their backup as well, which likely means an easy victory for McGoldenboy and his merry band of s***bags. I hope I'm wrong.

Not happy with the final score, but happy with how they played in general. That last powerplay that was squandered was a killer though and gave Nashville a mental boost I think.

It sucks that the refs missed 2 calls just before the winning goal, but can't dwell on it too much. At some point, they will win games that they should have lost. Hasn't happened yet this season, but I am sure it will. I believe these things tend to average out over the course of a season.

Weird. Do concussions stop one from skating on one of their legs? Maybe need to rewatch but thought he was skating off with assistance on one leg
