Two blatant non calls in 10 seconds. Unbelievable.

Add another, as Backlund was hooked about 40 seconds before.

I don't know how their job gets harder when there's fewer players on the ice.

Officials need to do their job and call penalties. That was classic game management in OT that cost the Flames a point.

Yeah, that goal was a gimme to the Preds with very easy calls for the refs that should have been made

Pretty terrible but missed calls happen

Pretty brutal to lose that one.
Bright side, if they play that way all year this is a 100+pt team.

If that's the worst that can happen when the Flames get no puck luck, face a hot goalie, and are screwed by the refs we are in for a great season.

The guys played well, but sometimes it doesn't go completely your way. Saros was standing on his head tonight. I'll take the point when it was looking like it was going the way of an even more frustrating result of zero for a while there.

Not sure I've seen a team possess the puck so little and come out of it with a W. You can only laugh at the misfortune. That's a 1 in 100 type of outcome.

I see the refs still have chapped asses over Wideman, how else can you explain that sequence being let go?

I mean, we were gifted 6 PPs earlier and didn't take advantage so hard to fault the refs.

Tkachuks controller disconnected there as well.

Meh. Reffing was BS.

I'm not mad though. If the Flames play like this all season, they will do well. Hockey is a game of bounces. They don't go your way every night.

I don’t think Tkachuk was getting back but the trip was an obvious a call as you can have

I guarantee you the Predators will not get those breaks tomorrow night against the most perfect team in the world.

Would like Sutter to call that out after the game. I get calls are missed, but to ignore two penalties which lead to the game winning goal just can't happen.

Flames played really well and deserved an easy win.

Can't win them all so move on to the next one.
