Flames dominated this game from start until that BS last sequence. That's not being gifted 6 pp's it's earning them through absolutely dominating 5v5.

When the Oilers vet 6 pp's after being outplayed 5v5 that is a gift.

Refs should at least let them know when they plan to pocket the whistles completely.

We could've taken a few more liberties then.

First full game I watched since the season started;

- Team played well
- Kylington was awesome
- Saros was stellar, seemed to be in the Flames heads after that first, thought they started to over pass
- Brutal non call in OT
- Monahan stinks, soft soft soft

That’s why they didn’t call anything…if we had 3 PPs I’d bet they would call it, but they met their quota for the night. I wish they’d just go back to calling nothing like the 80s…

A penalty that results in a clear scoring chance needs to be called every time.

I think the takeaway that Sutter will make sure that the team understands is to bury their chances and not leave a winnable game in the hands of the stripes or a bounce. They fought the puck a lot tonight and, uncharacteristically, whiffed on some grade A chances. I'll take the 1 point as better than zero, but 2 was there for the taking tonight.

Sucks to lose that way.

But the Flames were, again, the much better team.

Saros was lights out, Preds did what they needed, cant win em all.

These games happen to all teams every single year.

Bring on the Stars.

Really good energy in the rink tonight. Fun.

Flames have been the better team in every game. Including against the Wings - fight me on it.

Refs screwed it up, probably felt like they couldn’t call another Preds penalty. Oh well, take the point and move on.

Flames get that call in overtime if they didnt own the power play advantage the way they did in regulation.

Sad state of affairs but i gotta believe that is what was going thru those refs minds on that trip. That was pretty blatant.

Flames deserved better, but they also should have put it away in regulation. They were gifted a PP late in the game and did nothing with it, not even generating a dangerous attempt on goal.

Great fun game. Kylington with a laser beam snipe show. We got a point. I'm not gonna lament the OT. Flames had a million chances to not have this go to OT tonight and didn't capitalize.

Even when the Oilers play like ass, bounces go their way. At least so far from what I've seen.

But adversity comes around to get us all, eventually.

In the words of Bond- "we just hadn't got to yours yet."

Tkachuk’s “controller” got disconnected by being interfered with. He could have put back pressure on but for that.

REALLY felt like a pity for the Predators for getting their show run all night type of moment.

But these guys should always be doing their jobs. They were rightfully called out after the whistle. Too bad we couldn't challenge for missed calls.

Once again, the Flames were the better team. You can't win them all, and they just didn't get any break sin this one. But if they keep putting in efforts like this, they are going to win most nights.

To the Preds' credit, when they did get the occasional chance, they got good shots off.
