Where are your seats? Put them for sale in the ticketexchange section. Someone will buy a quarter off you.

It only impacts those that are approved for vaccination. So children who aren't old enough to be vaccinated will still be allowed to attend.

You can get your vaccination records here
This is probably not the thread to ask, but this felt like a good jumping on point.

I registered for MyHealth and got all the log in info. However, they only seem to have my May 12 vaccination on record. The one in June 28 does not show up. All I have from the June one is a paper copy. I took a picture and carry it in my phone. Can I call 811 to get this resolved?

Edit: there's a support number on this page if the records are not accurate.

Login to the website through a web browser.

There seems to be something about having to view it on a web browser before the latest info shows up in the app.

My June 21st shot wasn't visible on the app, but after I logged into the site on my computer it updated - and my 2nd dose is now visible on both the app and the site.

They haven't announced that yet.

In the US, sports teams that have required proof of vaccination have used an app from a company called Clear: https://www.clearme.com/newsportslanes

From what I understand, with that app, you link your account to your vaccination record and when you go to enter an event, the app displays your photo and an QR code that can be scanned at entry. The code is only valid for a limited time and will display your photo to the person doing the screening at the venue. Those measures are to prevent someone doing a screen grab of their own QR code and sharing it with their unvaccinated friends.

I believe the Clear app is only available in the US right now, but I'd expect something similar will be available in Canada -- either from Clear or the provincial/federal governments by mid-September. The federal government did announce they were working on something that could be used for travel purposes in the fall. Hopefully that will be able to be used wider.

The sad reality is we will probably need our derelict provincial government to cooperate here, and they've shown no willingness to help out, at all. Maybe when Kenney gets back from vacation and has a press conference about an oil well being drilled, a reporter can ask him about it.

They have "consulted with" experts, as per the press release. They are not claiming to be experts.

When you are not an expert in something, the best course is to consult with one when you need advice.

The province is going to be dragged into it kicking and screaming but I do assume they will eventually be forced by business interests.

This is the curt reply they gave media today in response to BC's proof of vaccination requirements:

Yeah, I constantly hear that you can't trust the news, it's all biased, where do you look for truth?

Well, first off all, they are probably thinking of social media, pundits, and the 24 hour news cycle. Those tell you how to feel about facts or the events of the day.

If you want news, just straight news, watch the morning, noon, or evening news on CTV, Global, CityTV, whatever. All they have time to do is report what's going on. It's as unbiased reporting as you get. And you can always check out feeds from the Associated and Canadian Press.

It's not that difficult to consume news and stay informed without muddying your perspective. Maybe I'm just more media literate than the average person, but it always surprises me when people bemoan this topic.

The comments in Instagram and Twitter are absolute hilarity.

I particularly like the ones calling CSEC (a private corporation) effin communists, and demanding the government step in......like how a communist government would.

I'm quite enjoying watching peoples heads explode.

I wonder if they were pressured into it by insurance companies, were worried about the liability themselves, or the Feds pushed for it. I am all for it but definitely didn't come from Kenney.
