Blue is good, red is bad. Most of these are light blue, so he was ok but not great. His best stat was primary assists/60 and his worst stat was goals/60

This could be huge for Bennet moving forward. This is the kind of veteran he never had to look up to here

It is probably not encouraging omen that the first thing King Theoden says after this transformation is, "I have no memory of this place."

I'm happy for him, I wish him all the success in Florida. I love seeing older guys still play for what seems like just pure love for the game.

Well....I did not see that coming.
Turning your NHL Franchise into a retirement community is an intriguing prospect though.

Thinking about Joe Thornton gives me an existential crisis.
When he was a rookie, he played on the same team as Ray Bourque. When Ray Bourque was a rookie, he played on the same team as Jean Ratelle who was on the same team as Gump Worsley (who played against Rocket Richard).
I know I am cherry picking players that had freakishly long careers, but it seems crazy that there is still a player in the league that has only a 3 degrees of separation from the "Original Six" and players who would be centenarians if they were still alive today.
