So what's the selling point? That's a bad combo of factors. Calgary simply ranks amongst the lowest teams in terms of where guys want to go. And as much as we hate it - Edmonton at least has the McDavid selling point

I dispute that one
Vancouver
Toronto
Calgary
Montreal
Ottawa
Edmonton
Winnipeg
Calgary and Montreal are a coin toss

If you "out-Winnipeg" Winnipeg....you're going to do just fine and succeed. Heck, if you just come close, you're a more desired destination. Treliving hasn't been able to come close to that.

Dallas doesn’t have much cap space though. Especially after signing Suter.

Yeah, that doesn't feel like a good contract. If true, will just hope to be proven wrong I guess.

Yeah I wouldn't hate that
I wouldn't love it either, that term is ugly, but under 5 would be a bit of a win

Why is this thread still active? This deal is dead by all reports.
Edit: See? Like I said, deal is done.

Before the news comes out one way or another, I liked Coleman when he was on the devils. He can put up 20 goals without playing with stars and is a hard worker.

We've seen a lot of reports saying it's, off, then on again, then off, then on again, so if you have something new please share

He played with Coleman in NJD, seems like a reliable source (even put the $$$)
