I argued the other day that he wasn't worth a big money term, and I feel like that is the an industry perspective in some quarters, too. He will probably get 50m from someone, of course.

ETA: The other obvious thing about the negotiations from Colorado's perspective is MacKinnon. You must keep Landeskog s AAV as low as possible because MacKinnon will carry a healthy premium.

St Louis is rumored to be all in on Landeskog, they currently have $17M in cap space + $7.5M in Tarasenko if they can get rid of that contract. They do have some UFA's + RFA's to take care of, but they have more then enough to make a significant push for Landeskog. Higher then what the Flames could/should offer.
