How things have changed lol.

Was thinking about some of dino7c's comments, I think his comments were that the Hab's were the biggest underdogs in history. Gotta give those Hab's credit.

To me it seemed like all year long people were making a meme of the Canadian division and saying everyone sucked. So from that perspective it's nice to see them take down Vegas.

A great save by Allen and some fluke bounces for Taffoli gave them the 1 goal wins in those games. Those go the other way and they were finishing behind the Flames. They had 4 wins in their previous 14 games before that April 26 W vs the Flames.
Yeah I think Scheifele's hit on Evans one game after the Habs dramatically eliminated Toronto really galvanised this team. Regular season Montreal was nothing to write home about.

Anyway I still can't get behind a team that includes Perry and Burrows...

Good for the Habs in making it to the Stanley Cup Final, I think they're a better team than we saw in the regular season, they only had Carey Price for 25 games so that alone would make a big difference.
It also shows that signing all top players isn't automatically going to mean you'll be successful.

I liked Marc Bergevin, he's pretty happy. Big accomplishment!

Do you think Treliving will be dancing around like that and hugging all the players and staff? We may never know.

MTL seems to have that sweet team chemistry going right now.

Everyone is contributing and taking their game to the highest levels at the right time.

Can’t believe it but they could very well win the friggen Coupe.

My Grandma's maiden name was Morenz, Howie was her 1st cousin. Always had a soft spot for the Canadians. Good for them and their fans. I’m cheering for them.

Oh, we’ll get a riot regardless of the outcome! 🥳
Things have still been relatively tame in public due to the pandemic, but I expect things will get turned up to 11 next week

Does this mean that the Canadian division is the best if Montreal wins the cup?

Montreal is my all time favorite city. Good on them.
I lived next to McGill for a very memorable summer. I agree Montreal is a great city and definitely my favorite Canadian city (next to my hometown of course).
