That makes me a homosexual hater in your eyes...but really, that's probably because you hate anyone who leans a bit to the right. You've made that clear several times in the past.

I'm not defending anyone, except maybe gays.
Ok ok ok, I'll change the analogy.
Same setting, still using al franken, and he says 'uncle tom' instead of '', is that news?

How does this compare to the DNC? Like I said, I didn't view the clip. Is this a gathering of thousands of republican voters?
Of course, either is deplorable.
I'm just not sure why anyone would give Coulter what she wants.....publicity. Her livelihood depends on her shocking people.

How do members of the media get away this! Wouldn't this be libel? I'd sue her a.s off.

Well, maybe you should view the article being discussed before replying about it?
It was at the CPAC today, i used the DNC because i don't know of democratic equivalent.
She was on a panel of speakers including Tom Delay, VP Cheney, Sean Hannity, Congressman Mike Pence, David Horowitz and Senator McConnell of Kentucky.
Should I describe her outfit?

So neither of us knows the democratic comparable.

Just watched it.
Didn't sound like a huge round of applause to me.
I just think she's irrelevant, hence not newsworthy. I based the statement (not newsworthy) on the source, not the comment.
So I guess you're right.

She's a writer and is on TV pretty regularly as a commentator so I don't get why you say she's not a member. I thought the media in the USA, has a little more laxity and no longer needs to back up statements with fact as much as an ordinary citizen does.

Right, I feel the same way about her, usually.
But when she's precedeing the vice president of the united states, former speaker of the house and a sitting member of the senate and congress, I happen to think it's newsworthy, and calls the aforementioned vice president's last competition, as he gears up for a probable presidential run, a fagg0t, well, you see how it looks...

She has the delivery and timing down pretty good. She could be a stand-up comedian.
I read an autobiography by some formerly hard-ass Republican attack dog who eventually came out of the closet and left "the scene". He and Anne were great friends, as I remember it, and she knew his real deal, even though he was hiding it.
I really think it's an act. Sometimes she almost starts to laugh at herself and the things she says. That thing about Canada in the Viet Nam war, I mean really, can anyone be taken seriously after that?
And I know it's not nice to just hack on someone's physical shortcomings, but I've read in a couple places that people have labelled her "attractive" and her own website sort of plays up this role with some truly comic "glamour shots". In today's video I thought she looked like Sebastien Bach after an extremely long night.

Being on TV doesn't make you a member of the media...neither does writing a book.
When Fox gives her a show she'll be a member I guess. God forbid.

I'm pretty sure Reagan changed the law leading to the current state of Fox news.
